Depositing crypto into your Slingshot account is straightforward. This guide explains exactly how to deposit tokens clearly and safely into your account, ensuring a smooth experience.
Initiating a deposit
To deposit crypto assets into Slingshot, first open the Slingshot app. On the homepage, locate and tap the "+ Deposit" button positioned at the top right corner of your screen.
Choosing your deposit method
You can deposit crypto into your Slingshot account using one of two main methods: transferring crypto from another wallet or buying crypto directly with traditional payment methods.
Transferring crypto from another wallet
To deposit crypto from another wallet or exchange, select the cryptocurrency and the blockchain network you're depositing from. Each blockchain supported by Slingshot has its own deposit address. For all EVM-compatible networks (like Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum), your deposit address is the same.
Copy your deposit wallet address provided in the app and use it to send crypto from your external wallet or exchange. Always double-check that you're sending the correct token on the correct network—sending funds using an incorrect or unsupported network, or unsupported tokens, can result in irreversible loss.
Buying crypto with traditional payment methods (on-ramp)
If you prefer to purchase crypto directly within Slingshot, you can securely buy crypto with various payment methods, including credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo.
Purchasing crypto through these methods is facilitated by a third-party provider, MoonPay. If you experience any issues during the purchase process, please contact MoonPay support at https://support.moonpay.com/.
Minimum deposit and balance requirements
Slingshot requires a minimum account balance to operate on certain blockchains:
Ethereum Mainnet: $400
All other supported networks: $5

Why don’t I see my deposited token in my account?
If your deposited tokens are not visible in your account after reasonable confirmation times:
Verify you used the correct token address and network.
Refresh the balance by pulling down your asset list.
Confirm your transaction on a blockchain explorer using your transaction hash.
Check if your token is hidden—certain tokens may be automatically hidden from your list.
Check the token has enough liquidity
Note: To access deposits made on Ethereum Mainnet, you need an account balance of at least $400.
If you still can’t find your deposit, please reach out to support for assistance.
Viewing hidden tokens
If you've deposited a supported token but don’t see it in your account, it may be hidden from your default view. This can happen if the token hasn't been verified yet. To locate and display such tokens:
Tap on "See All Assets" in your home screen.
Select "Manage Tokens" to see a full list of tokens, including any that are currently hidden.
Find the token in question and toggle it to unhide it.
You can always verify your deposit on-chain by checking your wallet balance through a blockchain explorer for the respective network.
Spam protection
To maintain a safe user experience, Slingshot applies certain spam-protection rules:
If you deposit a token that has less than $1,000 in total liquidity, Slingshot will skip displaying it in your list of assets. This prevents spam tokens from cluttering your balance.
Supported networks and tokens
Slingshot supports a variety of networks, including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, Solana, and others, along with thousands of tokens.
Always ensure that the token and network you are using are supported by Slingshot. Refer to our complete [Supported Networks & Tokens guide] for a comprehensive list.
