We ran Getting Started with Slingshot Wallet from mobile launch to April 23, 2023 at 11:59pm PST. During this time period, eligible users who finished the Getting Started tasks unlocked one unique card skin for each of the four tasks they completed. Upon task completion, the unlocked card skins immediately became available in the users’ wallet customizer.
We just airdropped the NFT versions of each card skin to all Getting Started participants and recipients. Eligible users, you now have your Getting Started card skins in-app and on-chain.
We’ve put together a guide for how to connect your Slingshot Wallet to our Slingshot Web App, so that you can see, list, and verify your Getting Started NFT card skins on our NFT Marketplace.
Please Note: Getting Started NFT card skins are on Polygon and authenticity can also be verified through the ERC-721 NFT explorer. You can also see your Getting Started NFT card skins on OpenSea (you may need to navigate to the “Hidden” section by clicking “More” on your collection page).
A guide to unlocking your Getting Started NFT Card Skins
From mobile to web, here’s how you connect your Slingshot Wallet to our Slingshot Web App, where you can access our NFT Marketplace.
Open your Slingshot Wallet on your mobile device and tap the QR icon at the top right of the screen to access the QR page.
2. Go to our Slingshot Web App. Below are instructions for connecting your Slingshot Wallet to our web app via desktop or mobile:
Desktop: If you are on our web app from your laptop or desktop, click "Connect Wallet" then scan the big QR that pops up on our web app screen.
Mobile: If you visit our web app from your mobile device, tap 'Copy QR Code' underneath the big QR that pops up on our web app screen. Go back to your Slingshot Wallet and tap 'Paste QR Code' underneath the scanner.
3. After you’ve connected your Slingshot Wallet, go to the ‘Nfts’ page of our Web App, and select the ‘Card Skins’ tab to view the collection. From here you can buy, sell, or simply take a look at the card skin NFTs currently listed. You can also join the ‘Nft Chat’ and talk with other card skin holders.
4. You will be prompted to ‘Unlock’ your card skin NFT when listing it on our marketplace. Click ‘Unlock’ to discover listing options.
